Welcome to eComDE. My name is Jean-Pierre, and I am a German ecommerce specialist based in the UK.

For non-EU brands, entering Germany and Europe means preparing the business, product data and operational setup behind each sales channel, not just uploading listings.
Most businesses already understand the commercial opportunity. The difficult part is preparing the operational details properly, including setup considerations, logistics, compliance readiness, product data, localisation, onboarding requirements, retailer expectations and internal coordination.

This is where my experience is focused.

I have worked across the full operational lifecycle of German marketplace and retailer channels, from onboarding and setup to product data, localisation, pricing coordination, SEO cleanup, launch preparation, ongoing maintenance and operational issue resolution.

As a German based in the UK, I understand both sides: how non-EU businesses approach European expansion, and how German retailers, buyers, platforms and customers expect information to be structured, written and handled.

My work is practical and structured, identifying what is missing, clarifying the next steps and helping prepare the data, content and processes needed before delays become expensive.
Marketing works best when the foundation is correct. Clean product data, accurate claims, proper localisation and channel-ready structure make it easier for ecommerce, sales and marketing teams to grow the business after launch.

Realistic planning also matters. Different marketplaces, retailers and onboarding structures operate at different speeds, with different approval processes, requirements and operational dependencies. Part of the work is helping businesses understand realistic timelines, workloads and expectations before projects begin.
